"It's cancer." Wow, suddenly everything sped up. Schedule this test, see that doc, go here, go there. I'm keeping a diary of events, because it's all happening so quickly I know I won't remember everything. The daunting thought of keeping family and friends updated gave me the idea to set up a blog. So here goes, my story of cancer. Please feel free to post comments. Just click on the "comments" hot button at the bottom of the post and tell me hi or whatever.

Hi Dawn,
It's just R. in NM checking in to say I love the soccer ball cake and wish I had the creativity to come up with something as fun. The guitar picks are beautiful and I am assuming one of Luke's special touches.
You sound tired out from the chemo in your last. What can some of us offer through these wires to inspire? BTW what flowers are you planting this year? Did the gigantic cape lillies and ginger bulbs survive these past few years? You always did love the dirt and a good lond afternoon in the garden. Here's hoping you take the time for some days off when you're feeling great and simply want some selfish time to commune with your flowers.
Some day I'll fill you in on our hapless remodeling project we began this spring. It has been quite interesting and we have learned a great deal about home improvement projects. I think I'll stick to the garden more often!
Sending you plenty of New mexico vibes......
R.
