"It's cancer." Wow, suddenly everything sped up. Schedule this test, see that doc, go here, go there. I'm keeping a diary of events, because it's all happening so quickly I know I won't remember everything. The daunting thought of keeping family and friends updated gave me the idea to set up a blog. So here goes, my story of cancer. Please feel free to post comments. Just click on the "comments" hot button at the bottom of the post and tell me hi or whatever.

Here's Dawn flying down the walkway of my sister's new house in progress. --Luke

Dawn,
You look great flying down the sidewalk. Just realized how long it has been.
I thought a lot about your post concerning memories and I guess I'd rather communicate those memories in the here and now.
So here goes....
I have always appreciated your ability to rise above the content of difficult situations, to be able to see conflict from more than one perspective, and then to laugh.
You look cute as ever! Take care of yourself! Keep those positive thoughts! You have had so much to go through in such a short life that I know you can get through this, as they say, with flying colors!

Buried under three feet (!) of snow...
